Who provides Blackwires

Blackwires is provided by Strider Solutions e.U., registered in the Austrian Companies Register under FN 633883g (referred to as “Blackwires”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Questions about these terms, subscriptions or consumer rights can be sent to info@strider.solutions.

1. Scope and acceptance

These terms apply to the Blackwires mobile app, website, accounts, band workspaces and related services. By creating an account, joining a workspace or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Notice explains how personal data is handled.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Blackwires for a band, organisation or other entity, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it. Mandatory consumer rights always take priority over any conflicting part of these terms.

2. The Blackwires service

Blackwires is a private operational workspace for musicians, bands and crews. It provides tools for songs, setlists, events, venues, tasks, media, recordings, band profiles, members and production planning. Some features, storage, workspace ownership and member capacity depend on the selected plan.

Each user must keep their sign-in details secure and provide accurate account information. Workspace owners control invitations and member roles. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by a failure for which we are responsible. Tell us promptly at info@strider.solutions if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Subscription plans and consumer prices

The current standard Blackwires consumer prices are:

Solo

€9 per month or €90 per year, including one seat.

Trio

€19 per month or €190 per year, including three seats.

Band

€29 per month or €290 per year, including eight seats.

Crew

€79 per month or €790 per year, including 24 seats.

Where offered, additional seats cost €6 per seat per month or €60 per seat per year. Website prices are consumer prices in euros and include applicable VAT. There is no free trial unless a checkout expressly offers one.

The App Store, Google Play or another checkout may use a local currency, regional pricing or a payment-platform price. The checkout identifies the payment platform and shows the binding total price, billing period and applicable taxes before you order. That displayed checkout total controls if it differs from a website price. No payment is due merely for viewing this website.

4. Contract formation and payment

Before purchase, the checkout shows the selected plan, total price, billing period and payment platform. The order button or equivalent checkout control makes clear that placing the order creates a payment obligation. Review those details before confirming.

A paid subscription contract is formed when the payment platform accepts the order and issues confirmation. The subscription starts when access is activated. Payment is charged to the payment method associated with the relevant store or checkout. The payment platform's terms also apply to payment processing and may identify that platform as the seller or merchant of record.

A subscription covers the workspace, seat allowance and billing period shown at checkout. A separate owned workspace may require a separate subscription. Invited members can use the subscribed workspace within its available seats without purchasing that workspace's owner subscription themselves.

5. Duration, automatic renewal and cancellation

Monthly and yearly subscriptions run for the billing period selected at checkout and automatically renew for the same period until cancelled. The renewal price and any change that requires advance notice will be communicated as required by law or the payment platform's rules.

You can cancel through the subscription settings of the App Store, Google Play or the checkout platform used for purchase. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal; paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app or ceasing to use it does not cancel a subscription.

Instructions and account support are available on the Support page or from info@strider.solutions. We can help identify the relevant route, but a platform-managed subscription may need to be cancelled in that platform's account settings.

6. Plan changes and additional seats

The checkout displays the price, effective date and any credit or prorated charge before you confirm an upgrade, downgrade or seat change. Upgrades may take effect immediately. Downgrades normally take effect at the next renewal and may reduce available seats or features. The payment platform's confirmed timing controls.

Before a reduction takes effect, the workspace owner is responsible for bringing membership and use within the new plan limits. We will take reasonable steps to explain affected access and, where practicable, allow content to be exported before a plan change materially restricts it.

7. Withdrawal and other statutory rights

If you are an EU or EEA consumer, you normally have 14 days from formation of a distance contract to withdraw without giving a reason. To exercise this right, send an unequivocal statement before the deadline to info@strider.solutions, including your name, Blackwires account email, order or receipt reference, purchase date and the plan concerned. If the payment platform is the seller or merchant of record, you may also use the withdrawal process shown by that platform or on your receipt.

If you ask for immediate access during the withdrawal period, checkout may ask for your express request, consent and acknowledgement of the consequences. Any proportionate charge or loss of a withdrawal right applies only where, and to the extent that, the legal requirements for starting or completing the relevant digital service or supplying digital content have been met. We will confirm the contract and any such consent on a durable medium as required.

Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights relating to non-conforming, unavailable or defective digital services or content. Those rights may include having the service brought into conformity, a price reduction or termination and reimbursement, depending on applicable law.

8. Refunds

Cancelling an automatically renewing subscription does not by itself refund the current billing period. Refund requests for purchases handled by Apple, Google or another merchant of record must normally be submitted through that platform's refund process. Contact us if you need help identifying the transaction.

This does not exclude any refund, reimbursement, price reduction or other remedy required by applicable consumer law. If Strider Solutions e.U. processed the payment directly, send the request and order details to info@strider.solutions.

9. Your content and workspace responsibilities

You retain ownership of songs, recordings, images, files, text and other content that you or your members add to Blackwires. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit, display and back up that content only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the service and meet legal obligations. This licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to shared-workspace use, backups and legal retention requirements.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share your content. Workspace owners and members must respect confidentiality, copyright, performers' rights, privacy and the permissions assigned inside the workspace. Content placed in a shared band workspace may remain available to that workspace after an individual member leaves.

10. Acceptable use

You must not use Blackwires to break the law or another person's rights; upload malware or harmful code; gain unauthorised access; bypass subscription, seat or security controls; disrupt the service; scrape or overload systems; impersonate others; or distribute unlawful, abusive or infringing material.

You must not reverse engineer or copy the service except where applicable law expressly permits it. Report suspected abuse or security issues to info@strider.solutions.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep Blackwires reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, security work, internet or platform failures and events outside reasonable control may cause temporary interruption. We will use reasonable care to restore service and communicate material planned interruptions where practicable.

We may improve, replace or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces a paid consumer service, we will provide any notice, continued access, termination option, reimbursement or other remedy required by applicable law. Updates needed for security, compatibility or legal compliance may be mandatory.

12. Suspension, termination and data

You may stop using Blackwires at any time, but must separately cancel an active subscription to prevent renewal. Account closure and data requests can be sent to info@strider.solutions.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to unlawful activity, prevent misuse or address a material breach. Except where urgent action is needed, prohibited by law or likely to cause harm, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. We may terminate for an unremedied material breach.

On termination or account closure, access ends as described in the notice or at the end of paid access. Workspace ownership and shared content may affect what an individual member can delete. Data is handled after closure as described in the Privacy Notice, including applicable retention, export and deletion rules.

13. Blackwires intellectual property

Blackwires, its software, visual design, branding, documentation and service content other than user content belong to Strider Solutions e.U. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these terms and an active entitlement where required, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

14. Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory product liability or mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies.

To the extent permitted by law, we are responsible only for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by our breach. We are not responsible for loss caused by your content, misuse, failure to secure an account, unauthorised workspace administration, or a third-party platform outside our reasonable control. Any special limitation that applies only to business users does not reduce rights available to consumers.

15. Governing law and consumer jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protection provided by the law of the country where you habitually reside.

Consumers may bring proceedings in any court available under mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules. Nothing here requires a consumer to bring a claim exclusively in Austria.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, security or business changes. The current version and update date will remain available at this URL. Where a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will give reasonable advance notice and any cancellation or other rights required by law. Changes do not retroactively remove rights already accrued.
